Room 9 have made koru art .Each shape represents something. The mangapare represents

Term 1 Tawa Team Trip

Tawa Team had a wonderful day trip to Raglan beach. Mackenzie and her group completed the beach relay and had a lot of fun.  She used the key competency of Participating and Contributing by accepting responsibility as an individual and as a group member. She also demonstrated the competency of Relating to Others when she worked cooperatively with her group and was considerate of their thoughts and feelings.

Honey bees belong to the insect family.
Description
Many bees are yellow orange or black. They have three pairs of legs and a pair of antennae. There

Behaviour/dynamics  
  When a bee sting   the stinger is pulled out of the bee and the bee DIES Many bees build nests made of wax. Some bees build in holes or cracks in the ground or in trees. Bees only sting to protect them bees only sting once. 
 GENERAL STATEMENT
Every queen bee lives for five years.
